Frequently Asked Questions
Soy Wax
Soy wax is a vegetable-based wax that is derived through the extraction of oil from soybeans. It is a non-toxic, clean-burning, & highly fragrant wax. Soy wax burns slower than paraffin wax, resulting in a longer burning candle.
Fragrance Oil
All candles are richly scented with fragrance oils that are a combination of essential and synthetic oils developed for optimal performance in a soy candle. The oils used are phthalate-free & non-toxic. It is not recommended to put the soy wax & oil on your skin due to possible allergic reactions.
Wooden Wick
Wooden wicks give off a modern & unique visual appeal. The teardrop-shaped flame & soft crackling sound enhances the ambiance of any space & sets the mood. Cut your wick down to 1/4 of an inch when relighting your candle for a better burn.
Vessel
Tin & glass vessels are reusable & recyclable. I love using the vessels as succulent planters or as jewelry cases. Use warm water & soap to clean off the soy wax residue and get creative! Check out my Instagram for videos.

Process
I absolutely love making candles from beginning to end. All candles are made in small batches and hand-poured with lots of love. Please feel free to send me your feedback & contact me if you have any candle issues.
Burning
Burn your candle on a clean & flat surface, away from windows, drafts, children, & pets. Soy wax has a memory & works best when the wax melts completely on the top layer. Burn your candle until there is a top pool of wax to avoid tunneling or your candle not burning correctly. 7oz candles have a 35-40 hour burn life. 14oz candles have 75-80 hour burn life.
Safety
Do not burn candles for over 5 hours & wait until the candle cools completely before handling. Do not touch hot wax or ingest wax. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Stop burning once you can see the silver wick clip.
